The Windsor Court is a luxury hotel a 15 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) from Brennan’s, and tucked away in a quiet(er) corner in the middle of downtown.

Uptown Hotels
These are some hotels we would recommend if you’re keen on exploring New Orleans beyond the walls of the French Quarter. They are a bit quieter, quainter, and closer to Friday’s welcome party. So if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy a slower-paced area, these may be spots for you.

This historic hotel is on Saint Charles Avenue in the Uptown neighborhood across from Tulane. A short walk in the park to Friday’s welcome party, and a 15-min drive to Brennan’s and the French Quarter. Ideal if you want a quieter stay away from the action of downtown.
